Our Attorneys

Ron Richmond

Ron’s practice has always had a client-centered focus, pursuing a flexible approach to help clients find solutions to their individual challenges. His practice focuses almost exclusively on litigation, involving disputes regarding real estate, business, protection orders, insurance claims, consumer protection, and general claims. He brings great passion and skill in analyzing a client’s case and finding workable solutions, conveying it to clients and opposing parties in accessible terms – whether navigating discovery, negotiating a settlement, or going to trial.

Ron has represented numerous individuals and businesses with disputes over property, personal injury, consumer issues, contracts, and estates. He has worked extensively with vulnerable adults and their family members, and served on the Title 11 GAL Registry for Kitsap County from 2013 through 2020. He has been a requested speaker, and has presented at numerous seminars in the areas of estate litigation, guardianship, probate, estates, and estate and trust planning.

Originally from Southwest Ohio, Ron earned his law degree in 2002. Prior to entering the practice of law, he worked for over a decade in the fields of insurance and financial management, specializing in plan design and implementation. After moving to Washington, Ron transitioned to the practice of law. He was an associate with GSJones Law Group in Port Orchard from 2010 through 2014, joining Richmond Law in January 2015 to form Richmond & Richmond. After three years of medical leave due to injuries from a car wreck, Ron returned to Richmond Law and helped launch Richmond Hill in January 2023.

Ron is also active in his community, serving persons in need through legal aid and pro bono cases. He is an active member of Bremerton 63 Toastmasters. He is a member and officer of Brewin Biz in Bremerton, and past president of Kitsap Business Leaders BNI and Olympic Business Exchange BNI. He served as a Kitsap Bar Association Trustee from 2016 through 2020. He was active in revitalizing the Kitsap Young Lawyers Division, serving as their president in 2011. He also is a former member and former board member of the Port Orchard Rotary from 2010 through 2014.

Ron lives in Port Orchard with his wife, Karen, and their four children. He is an avid swimmer. In his few moments of spare time, he enjoys gaming (including chess), collecting Hot Wheels, or watching baseball, sci-fi, and fantasy – an unusual combination, to be sure. His all-time favorite show is Revolution.
